A1 experience
I was flossing one day and knocked a chip out of the side of one of my molars and had to find a dentist to repair it. I had not been to a dentist since 1999 so I figured it was a good time for a cleaning as well.
I called around to a few in the area to see who would take my dental insurance. A lot of them would but I had to pay them up front and go to my insurance company for reimbursement. Landmark on the other hand worked directly with the insurance company so all I had to provide was the co-payment.
When I set up my appointment the receptionist I spoke to on the phone was a pleasure to talk to and helpful with understanding the insurance part. When I showed up for my appointment I was taken back for the cleaning and x-rays and told for 18 years since my last cleaning they look pretty good. The x-rays though showed a cavity where the chip was knocked off of my molar and on another tooth on the opposite side of my mouth.
They show me back to another room and the doc put a filling in where the chip was and scheduled me for the opposite side cavity for the following week. When I showed up for my second appointment I told the doc that I had contact pain and cold/heat sensitivity on the first filling and they put from what I understand a top coat on it and proceeded with the second filling.
The top coat was not enough and ended up having to go back to get extra material put on top of the first filling twice as it was on two separate teeth. They did not charge me for the additional two trips and didn't complain about it they just asked me when could I come in to get it done and did it. That is service in my opinion.
