One of my favorite places in Raleigh. Lucky Tree is one of the best places to go if you like a community atmosphere. Not only does everyone know each other, there is a vibrant artistic and musical community that also very welcoming centered around Lucky Tree. The regulars make it more interesting but if you’re just looking for a nice spot to hang out it's pretty good too. I love open Mic nights and First Fridays because of the variety of people who come in and collaborate, young and old. They also do crafts. They are also extremely engaging; I recently made a cork reindeer and watercolor tiles. Lovely art pieces everywhere, with lots of interesting music and lighting. The food is good, if a little overpriced but the coffee is the real star. Honestly some of the best coffee I've ever had and the price as Dunkin Donuts or McDonald's (Starbucks has nothing on them). Generally, HIGHLY recommend.
