Overall good food in a space that offers ample seating. The start to our meal was underwhelming. There’s no other way around it: the satays were bland. Nothing about them was what a satay should be. The spices were muted and what did come through was muddled. They were basically just a conduit for the dipping sauce. The noodles were a different story. They were well-seasoned, well-spiced, and absolutely delicious. Each ingredient comes through and comes together for a perfect bite. They provide good portion sizes. This place is definitely worth the visit; just stick to the noodles.
Nice selection of dishes. When I asked to substitute gluten-free noodles for the ones that normally come in the dish I was given a choice of 3 different types. That was a treat. We also ordered Vietnamese cold spring rolls as an appetizer. The rolls and the dipping sauce were delicious. For dessert we got the poached pear with ginger ice cream and the chocolate cake. All I can say is wow! I would highly recommend them both. The pear was good but when eaten with the ice cream it was fabulous.
