My mother died very quickly and unexpectedly in December of cancer. I must say that Poole rolled out the red carpet and were very accommodating and thorough in our initial ceremony consultation prior to moms funeral. I saw some literature on getting a necklace or peice of jewelry made with the deceased's finger print. I showed a great interest and our consultant explained that they would take moms fingerprint prior to cremation and keep on hand indefinitely for such arrangements. We were clear that we wanted this service and to please take and preserve her fingerprint. While nothing was signed or documented, our verbal conversation and commitment was very clear and to which ended with our consultant assuring us this would be executed and saved. She stated that it would be taken care of. With many plans of several family members to do something special and meaningful (tattoos, jewelry, pictures) with moms thumbprint, when I called Poole to retrieve it, I was told that there was a small oversight and that her thumbprint was never recorded prior to cremation. They were Sorry. Very disappointed and unacceptable. I can never get such a thing back and that's much more than an oversight. To be fair, everything else done by Twiford was lovely and our consultant really was a nice and well meaning person and everything else was well done. Mistakes are made but this one for me is priceless and devastating.
