I was informed that I had impeccable rental history and made more than enough money to cover the costs of the home I wanted to rent. One day later I was told that so was denied, they didn't want to tell me why other than my credit. This confused me because my credit history is pretty decent as well and there's nothing there that should be a cause for concern . I was informed I would get a denial letter in the mail in 6-8 weeks complete with a detailed reason for my denial. Still haven't received that in the mail and it's week 10. I even offered to put down 3 months rent ahead of time along with my security deposit. They stated they did not do this, however, I had already talked with several people who stated they were allowed to do just this very same thing by this company. I'd heard of their discriminatory lending practices towards "people of color" in nicer neighborhoods. I'm now convinced that this is true.
