Fall Creek Cabins

Spent our honeymoon at the bear creek cabin. The property is great and the owners are wonderful. We're going back soon to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Very conveniently located. Close to Boone and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Stayed in Pine Crest for 3 nights in January 2918. Cabin was nice and clean. However we had a few issues. Hot tube was too cold to use first night we got in. We also didn’t have Wi-Fi connection until second day. Owners worked with us to resolve issues. So by the time the issues were resolved it was time for us to go home. We were surprised for not getting all our $300 deposit back. I have to say, owners have strict rules how to leave a cabin. For example: they want the beds stripped down, towels put together in one place, ashes from fireplace removed, dishes done, etc. This make your stay very uncomfortable worrying about remembering all this rules. We did our best to remember everything but still got penalized for little things. Like mesh from hot tube wasn’t left in its place and spots in the oven that were there before us. I would suggest to take before and after video so you don’t get penalized for something that was there before. Would not rent from this owner again!
