Very condescending agent with incompetent office staff. Received a letter from them with an insane rate hike and was told if I didn't sign and return the consent to rate form by a certain date my policy would be cancelled. Decided to cancel and go with a different insurance company anyways which cut my monthly rate in half with basically the same coverage and even gave them the courtesy call to let them know I would not be signing the consent to rate form and thus allowing my policy with them to lapse. Was told in a very condescending tone that I clearly didn't read the letter that they sent and that it did not say my policy would be cancelled if I didn't sign the form and that I had to write and sign a letter myself to say I was going to cancel my policy. Kept my homeowners insurance through state farm but looking to switch agents.
