Uptown Cheapskate

I came here today to liquidate my inventory from an old business. They accepted quite a few of my items but seemed to pass on career-type clothing. The store has a more trendy, casual type vibe, so that's understandable. I brought in Anthropologie, 7FAM, Citizens of Humanity, Lily Pulitzer, Gap, J Crew, Banana, Ann Taylor, and some other mall and dept. store brands. I was offered about $140 in store credit which I used the same day for a pair of Jack Rogers boots, 2 Free People tunics, a nice pair of heeled sandals and a tee shirt dress. They had a nice selection of Free People and Anthropologie clothing and they were all in one area which is helpful. Overall there was a lot to choose from and everything was in good used condition - I even saw quite a few things with tags still on them. This store seems to do a better job of picking items in good condition than other consignment stores in the area. I was really impressed with the condition of the shoes in particular. The prices were good, even a little lower than those you'd find shopping secondhand online. Someone mentioned a musty smell in their review. The store smelled good to me. At the end of checkout the representative explained the punch card and the return policy, which included that a receipt is required and the tag must still be affixed to the product for a refund in store credit. I had a great experience and I'm sure I'll be back!
