This is an older construction building. The shower in the bathroom function well. The room is clean and I did not get bitten by bed bugs at this hotel which has been a problem in the past with budget hotels in the I-95 corridor. It was very quiet and I slept undisturbed. For the price it was very nice. This hotel allowed me to check in at 10 in the morning I slept all day long and got back on the road at midnight so I'll give this hotel five stars for convenience and flexibility for the customers needs. In other hotels on previous trips when I wanted to check in in the morning I was told I couldn't until 3pm... I've stayed other hotels in Dunn North Carolina and have had similar experiences in this area of North Carolina highly recommended area for weary Travelers anytime of the day or night. There are good restaurants in the area located in this nice quiet town
I don't recommend staying here. I was thrown out of my room without cause after paying $600 for 10 days and they refused to refund any money at all. The backside is over run on weekends by drug addicts, prostitutes, and hand members which the management is very familiar with. Some rooms are reserved for hourly rent. The bathrooms are dirty and they are not very friendly. The employees go in your room while you're gone and go through your things taking whatever they please. Your vehicle will be broken into and you must stay on guard when outside of your room after dark. Some of the long term guest are cooking meth in their rooms you can smell the chemicals in the air. Many of the truck drivers frequently rent rooms by the hour for pleasure. I used to stay at this hotel quite a lot bit in recent months it gas become a haven for Dunn's undesirables. I advise staying anywhere other than Super 8 in Dunn.
