First of all, let me say Thank You to Savannah at Stricks!! I usually need two deliveries per year. We use a gas log fireplace along with our heat pump to warm our home. When the “snow storm”(Wilmington NC lol)hit, our heat pump failed on our downstairs unit causing us to rely solely on our gas logs. On the first day of the unusually cold temperatures, we were at 40%. That would usually last us a month but now we were running the fireplace all day. On top of everything, I couldn’t get an honest heat and air guy to my home as they were very backed up. Savannah tried her best to get a delivery to my area in Brunswick County, but I was going to run out of gas before they could get to me. She contacted a family member who has a heat and air business and asked them to get to me that day. He called and said he would be there that day. He got my heat up and running and the gas was no longer a pressing issue. Stricks has always been reliable and fair with me but Savannah showed a compassionate side for a customer in need. That goes a long way. Thank you and God Bless you.
Also remember for any previous negative comments you may read... When you sign up, it is explained to you that you have regularly scheduled gas deliveries. If for any reason you would need an extra delivery, it could be a few days or a couple of weeks before they could get you in. If January is coming and you usually use more fuel, maybe call in December to get on the books. When you put high demands on a company who will drive in ice and snow to get to you, remember they have families and have to consider their own safety too. Thanks Stricks and thank you Savannah!
