My wife and I went to Steam on Valentine’s Day for their 4 course special. It was $65 per person. When we arrived, the restaurant was too bright for a romantic valentines dinner, not great atmosphere. Our first course was a one bite toast with pepper jelly. Probably the best course of the night. Our next course was oysters on the half shell which was three extremely small oysters when put together would probably be the size of one average size one. The mushroom wellington wasn’t bad. We each then had the 14 ounce sirloin which we thought were the fattiest steaks we had ever eaten. Our dessert wasn’t bad but not worth the price of the meal. The one bright spot was that our server was good. We will not go back there again. I am not one to complain on this forum, this is my first time doing so, but the food was not good and I had to do so since my stomach is still not feeling that great since last night.
