Ennett Realty is the worst business I have ever worked with. They have been incredibly unfair, lazy and dishonest. It seems like they are doing all they can to charge extra money of their tenants, even when all the tenant has done is been respectful and paid on time without exception. I was charged half my rent for the month even though I moved due to a completely last-minute deployment (despite having shown them my orders) AND I was charged for a huge cleaning fee despite having cleaned the place thoroughly (it was damaged and stained when we moved in and we were essentially blamed for that, even though it was already like that). We were also charged for the re-painting even though we asked well ahead of time if we should repaint it ourselves. We were told not to, and that it was normal wear and tear and they were going to re-paint anyway, so not to worry about cleaning the walls or repainting or anything. They then turned around and charged us 75 dollars for the re-paint after we had already left. It’s despicable. I am reporting them to the NC Real Estate Commission because they have broken the law several times. It’s pure disrespect no matter what you do, so I’d advise you to stay far away if at all possible!
