I have never written a bad review but my dealings with Piedmont Surfaces in Eden N.C. warranted a huge do NOT recommend. When I called to alert Piedmont Surfaces that half of my kitchen counter was one color and the other half another I was told the boss, Pam W. would need to see it. Upon seeing the mismatched granite, Pam W. said it had to be completely redone as her reputation was at stake, especially in this town. When I inquired as to the cost Pam said she "would just have to eat it". Piedmont replaced half of the counter with a match that was even worse and, in the process, chipped the original half. After 3 months of emails, texts, phone tag, and having no kitchen sinks, I gave Pam a date to respond after which I would take legal action. New granite was then ordered and things were scheduled. The day before install, Pam sent email informing me of an additional $1500. charge for the redo. Rather than spend several more months without a kitchen, months in court, months dealing with Pam, I paid the additional $1500 to be done with the entire ordeal. Honesty and integrity can make or break a business.
