Trail is good. The summit is over-domesticated... But most are these days. Overall though, the trails in the park are still rustic.
When you get to the top, there is a gift store right before the last bit of summit. On a cold day, stop at the little concession bar there and get a hot cider. It's powdered stuff... But it feels like heaven after a cold hike.
