Was just a check-in-and-wait assembly line. Was never* asked how I was doing. Was my 5th knee scope and perhaps they felt my lack of anxiety? Really don't know. Just know I was behind a curtain that served as one wall of the one of the walls combined with one rear wall behind and two (3/4 walls to sides listening to a couple people in hysterics. That wasn't fun & added by my 9:30 turned 11:00. Was the middle of 3 surgeries my Surgeon had that day. Didn't speak to him post-op? None. Did very brief pre but that was actually fine as we'd gone other that well pre-op appointment. He was great there. Odd not seeing after?. I just wanted to be knocked out like most of us do. I did a "ambulatory" at another Duke that was really as great as such can be. This chop shop just isn't the place. Try and schedule at another and you'll be far more comfy psychological as well as physical. Quite disappointed. Duke has far better (or at least did)? I don't know. I would not recommend Davis to any fellow Human Being. I'm sorry, I just wouldn't. It was not a nightmare, but that was due my mindset. If it had turned anxiety-filled (which I can see easily). Would have been no one to ask or help. CRNA, was the highlight just by her attitude and view of you as more than part of the assembly line. Anesthesiologist himself was not gruff or anything. He was just very* brief. Like the everyone except the Nurse Anesthetist mentioned. Maybe my ink was not up to how a "regular" Civil Engineer would have been treated?
