Did not even make it to eat. We sat down to eat and decided to change seats. When we did, the waitress clearly had an issue and an attitude about us choosing the seats we sat at. We were visiting from out of town and checked the reviews and saw they were good and online it said the establishment closed at 7pm so we did not even think to look at the door. I asked her was there an issue with us sitting here and she proceeded to tell us that "no it is just because we clean and mop here first" She threw the menus across the tables. First of all, we would not have gone in if we were aware they closed at 2pm, secondly even if we did, the level of hospitality and professionalism was completely unacceptable. At this point we decided to leave and we did not cause a scene we just told her we are going to leave. As we walked out, the entire staff was staring and glaring at us clearly as if there was an issue with us being there. I can not help but to think that the fact that we were of African American and mixed descents that that had something to do with how we were treated. The fact that this location is prone to receiving multiple tourists, they might want to be enlightened about the definition of great customer service and maybe a class or two in patience.
