Smokey's Barber Shop

Terrible. Smokey barely spoke the whole time and when she did it was about how people who didn't grow up here aren't real locals. That felt very welcoming to someone who had clearly just moved here (sarcasm). When I asked her politely to fix a mistake on my hair she had made, she responded with "Well if you're looking for perfection, I don't know what to tell you." Are you serious right now? I don't expect perfection. I expect you to do your best and fix any mistakes I see and be kind and conversational. That's all. I didn't think I had high expectations. Never been so disappointed with a haircut experience.

What a great spot. I called ahead looking for a place that would be open because I was driving down from Ohio on a business trip. Stayed open an hour late for me to get my hair cut. Took her time and treated me perfect. Hope to stop back next time I am driving through. She recommended "Piggy's Ice Cream-Harry's Grille" It was amazing. Another Great Stop!
