Guitar Lessons Boone

I think Dustin comes closest to being a perfect music instructor a person can have. Along being extremely talented, he has the intangibles, the personality that easily connect and inspire anyone that’s lucky enough to be his students. I had acoustic/classical/electric guitar and bass guitar lessons under Dustin. We worked on alot of styles and covered so many areas in creativity. There were lessons where we worked on one song, broke it down and built it up into different styles. For example, a Bruce Springsteen’s song got arranged into a classical guitar tune then jazz then into bass guitar solo. Dustin taught me composition and recorded/mixed my songs. I came in with music notation software or GarageBand and Dustin helped me work on them. Dustin also helped me with songs from my homeland, Vietnam and the music I played for my church choir. A couple of other Dustin’s students and myself formed a band. Dustin worked with us in all aspects including being a drummer for our gigs. I feel like Dustin is like a great teacher that is also a good friend who can take you in any music direction that your heart desires.
