I was thrilled when the establishment opened several months ago, as we need more local eateries downtown. Five Points Public House did not disappoint for our first visit today. The mojito wasn't muddled well or strong enough, and we had to wait a bit for our food, but everything else was fine. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, our server was attentive and went out of her way to accommodate us, and the food was delicious. For my first time, I tried the blackened chicken w/pasta and Alfredo sauce. It was better than a local "authentic" Italian restaurant, hands down. All was cooked to perfection. The others in our group were equally pleased with the fish tacos, Cobb salad, and burger and loaded potato. For dessert we tried the tuxedo cheesecake and the chocolate layer cake. The cheesecake was perfect while the cake was a tad dry. Overall, we were extremely pleased and look forward to going back. You will not go wrong here.
