Very aggravating and disappointing experience! When arriving to pick up my vehicle, I asked to use the facilities. Disgusting! No toilet ppr, the toiletSEAT had splashes of feces and the garbage looked like it hadn’t been emptied in at least a week. Moving on, I was asked to check the vehicles body for any damages or knicks. This was very hard to see because the truck just got finished being “cleaned” so it was wet. It was extremely difficult to see any imperfections like this. I did the best I could so I could just get on my way. Entering the vehicle, I can tell you it was far from clean! It looked as if the same cloth used to wax a car was used for the windshield, dash, windows, all the chrome, etc. There was a smell and dog hair on the seats. Unacceptable conditions for a $80.00 a day rental!
After taking the truck for the afternoon, I decided I no longer wanted to pay for the vehicle the second day as I originally planned. I tried calling that office SIX TIMES using all different prompts just desperate to reach this guy and ask him when I can bring back the truck! I had to call the 800 number to ask if they could reach someone at the Matthews office. I was transferred to the manager who is responsible for that area and she was able to get this guy to finally pick up! When I expressed my disappointments and aggravation to this individual, his response was simply “ok”. No apologies or concerns that I was dissatisfied with the service. Smh. Unbelievable!
What a inconvenient, disappointing and far from cheap experience! I will no longer go back to that location or use enterprise at all!
