I have been going to this Dollar Tree since I moved into nearby apartments 4 years ago (2013). While I could afford to go somewhere else, I find that the location is convenient, the staff is excellent (friendly and they remember me!), and many of the products which they sell are overpriced elsewhere for the same or very similar merchandise.
Canned foods, candies, kitchen wares (especially wine glasses, cups, plates, and bowls!) are gorgeous! At $1.00 each, it's easy to stock up. If you want seasonal wares (i.e. Fall-themed table wares, Christmas themed, etc.), they ALWAYS have those, too! They are gorgeous, and it's much better than buying half as much for 3x the price elsewhere. Especially given that you can purchase as much as you need of each item instead of buying a standard set (or sometimes more, depending on your needs).
I go here several times a week. Sometimes I just look around to kill time before work, but it's hard to go there without buying something! Compared to the other Dollar Trees I have been to, this one is exceptional. Yes, it is small and seems a bit cluttered, but it considering the deals you're getting and how much inventory the store has, it's fantastic! If you need help finding something specific, you can always ask the helpful staff.
Check this out when you're at the Plaza West Shopping Center! I challenge you not to find something novel and unique enough to buy. ;)
