Initially, I wrote a 5 Star review as I was happy with the check-in of my #Cubesmart Self Storage unit in Rocky Mount, NC. Today, I am revising this to a 1 Star Review. Was not happy that they had Mandatory Insurance that they required for me to purchase, but went along with it anyway. Well, less than two weeks after renting the unit, Hurricane Matthew made a visit to the area and some of my very valuable items were ruined. There was NEVER verbal mention that the insurance didn't cover rain, but it does clearly state that it covers Hurricanes. Since I had purchased the Mandatory Insurance, I would be covered, Right? No......WRONG! After waiting almost two weeks to get a response from the Insurance company, I was informed yesterday that I was not covered. Not very happy and will continue to pursue.
