Best Western Plus Suites-Greenville

Room was filthy. There was something all over the wall behind the couch and the ceiling. When we pulled the sofa bed out we found trash in it. I reported all of the above items that night and nothing was offered. We were told they would make house keeping aware. When we checked out we accidentally left a crochet baby blanket in the room. I immediately called the day of checkout and asked if it had been found. I was told housekeeping was gone and they would call me back in the morning. I did not receive a call back. I called for the following 4 days and continued to be told someone would call me back. As of today no one has called me back. When I called today, the lady that answered the phone said let me get you someone in housekeeping. She didn't place the phone on hold and I could hear her the entire time as she was continuously checking in people for about 20 min. She finally came back to the phone and said I asked housekeeping and they haven't found a blanket. I responded you are lying to me you have not asked anyone I have heard everything you have said the past 20 min and all you have done is check in people. She immediately placed me on hold and got Naik on the phone. I expressed my frustrations with the hotel and its staff and they assured me I would get a call back today. We shall see. If you leave something accidentally in your room based on my experience you will not get it back. The staff will lie to you and really appears to not care about their customers. I have an extremely upset child over leaving their blankie behind. I will be making numerous trips to ECU and I will not be staying in this hotel again.
