Apple Annie's Bake Shop

I purchased a cake from Apple Annie's for my mother, I purchased a sheet cake, yellow cake two layer with white and yellow flowers. Visually the cake was beautiful outstanding. But once my mom cut into the cake she became quickly disappointed with the flavor of the icing and the cake itself. The icing itself was highly UN-favorable and the yellow cake was dry, and tasteless. My mom thought if she let the cake get room temperature that maybe the flavors would settle and change... It did not, in fact the cake's flavor was believe it or not worse. My mom reached out to the manager, to let her know of the dissatisfaction with the cake and of course she has yet to hear back from the manager. We will not be getting ANOTHER cake from Apple Annie's and to be honest Food Lions cakes taste better.

We were on vacation and just went in to get some sweets. We got several cookies, eclairs, and slices of cake and they were all delicious. I wish I had gotten more to bring home it was so good. Definitely a fun stop for something a little different for dessert.
