I come to this bowling alley like 3/4 nights a week, and I ONLY HAVE ONE COMPLAINT. We went last night for college night. We always go on nights where they have specials because of course we want to bowl for as cheap as possible.
On Wednesdays they advertise $2 PBR beers. It's the 'tall boy' 16 ounce cans. The special runs from 9pm until midnight. We order two beers and start bowling. It's 10pm and we try to order two more beers and they say they are OUT. We were shocked since it's only an hour into the special.
The bartender tells us he's only sold 5 beers, 3 of which were to us!!
A few days prior when we were there, the PBR tap had run out too.
We ask the manager if they could give us draft PBR instead for the special price and he said no "they can't substitute liquor". My boyfriend clarified we wanted beer, the same kind of beer, just out of the tap since they were out of cans. He said alcohol laws prevented the substitution.
This isn't a law I've heard of before. I love this alley; we are definitely regulars there. Since this is the second time they've run out of something, I would just ask that the manager makes sure they do better about ordering what is needed FOR THE SPECIALS.
You go somewhere for a special, and then they don't have the product and can't provide any substitution. It's just frustrating.
Other than that though, I love this bowling alley. Most of the staff is friendly. We've been there enough times now they are always pleasant with us. Lanes are usually waxed. The atmosphere is fun with music videos playing on projectors and all the lights are always out.

Don't buy Groupons for this place. My Groupon went to waste because I came twice to this place on Sat/Sun, and each time some tournament was going on. So I couldn't redeem the Groupon in time, and it expired. And they won't extend the deadline.
