AL-Basha Mediterranean Grill and Hookah

Really enjoyed this restaurant! The food was excellent and the service was fast and friendly. I ordered a platter with chicken beef and lamb...WOW! So good and the bed of rice it was on was amazing! I also ordered Turkish coffee after dinner which was the only disappointment. It was average at best. They are open late for service which is a plus in an area where many locations roll up their sidewalks and close early. A wonderful cultural experience for the whole family! When your their try the Mint Drink...amazing!

This place should be better. The staff is great & super welcoming. But that's about it. The food is decent but still subpar, specially compared to Le Kebab. The hookah is terrible, but still better than any other place in Charlotte. The service occasionally lags and they forget your order because they have very few employees. But if you want some good tea or coffee, a nice night of cards with the boys, this is the perfect spot. Just be patient or go inside and tell someone inside what you need if you want it quickly. Much love to these guys, it's great to see the owners always working. But honestly I would love to see them up the quality here big time.
